If you're looking for a well specified 4K smart TV that doesn't come with a premium price tag, the TU8500 is well worth a shout. Here's why.

Tizen smart TV platform ; Low latency Game mode ; Value for money ; Dolby Atmos audio pass-through

Pictures not particularly cinematic ; No Dolby Vision support ; No Freeview Play ; Average onboard audio

Samsung tu8050 tv

 

Great service spoke to member of staff on choices for my price range great tv coming from a 50inch plasma was a little hesitant on picture quality but this tv has a stunning picture. Overall great service and delivery thank you.

Lovely picture but horrible processing

 

I sent this TV back. The picture would occasionally "judder" when there was a scene change or pixellate on a fade between scenes. Especially bad on satellite signals but happened on Freeview too. No amount of tweaking the motion settings quite got rid...

Great set

 

Very Happy with this TV. The picture and sound are great. The stand could be a little less obvious and I would have preferred a user manual. It is not always convenuent to look online. Overall I am very happy with it.
