Samsung Q800T 8K QLED TV review

If you've found yourself thinking that you wouldn't mind an 8K TV – if only they weren't so expensive – the Samsung Q800T could be the TV you've been waiting for.

Impressive 8K resolution Outstanding upscaling Terrific audio performance Mostly compelling smart system

Local dimming sometimes distracts More expensive than 4K No Dolby Vision support Colours occasionally lack punch

While Samsung’s bid to make 8K more affordable inevitably comes with one or two strings attached, the 65Q800T remains an excellent premium TV that really can make its 8K difference count – even with sub-8K content.

Superb TV

The TV was very easy to set up - just follow on-screen instructions. Worked perfectly initially but then lost the wifi connection but again simple to reset and restore. Great picture and sound was expected with this catergory of TV and it delivered....
