Panasonic HZ1500 4K OLED TV review: Serious about sound

 

The HZ1500's USP is its integrated Dolby Atmos sound system. Add all the HDR decoding you could want, plus epic picture quality, and it's a winner.

Gratifying 4K picture quality - especially with Dolby Vision content ; Very decent upscaling ; Impressive sound by the standards of integrated set-ups

Quite expensive for an OLED telly these days ; Missing a desirable app or two ; Doesn’t sound quite as big as it thinks it does

It comes at a premium price, certainly, but then the Panasonic HZ1500 is a premium performer.

Replaced a still working 5 year old LED Panasonic bought from Richer Sounds. A significant improvement on picture and sound. Terrific build quality and great service from Richer Sounds. My friend bought an equivalent LG and he agrees this is better.
