Garmin Vivomove Sport Review: Hidden Screen, Obvious Talents | Digital Trends

You may not know it, but Garmin's Vivomove Sport has a hidden screen to keep true to its fashion watch looks, but its health tracking talent is more obvious.

Looks like a fashion watch

OLED screen is low resolution

“The fashionable Garmin Vivomove may have a hidden screen, but once you put it on, the watch's extensive technology and health tracking talents are obvious.”

Garmin Vivomove black with sport band

That's because the Vivomove is like nothing Garmin's ever made before, but it's something we're seeing a lot from other companies. It looks like a stylish analog watch, but inside it's a fitness tracker, much like the Withings Activite . It tracks...

Great fashion-watch design; one-year battery life; and can track steps and sleep automatically. Can sync with Android and iOS, and can be worn in the shower and while swimming.

Occasional connection issues with the Garmin app; watch lacks vibration; can't be used with other Garmin trackers; lacks advanced features like a heart rate sensor or smartphone alerts.

The Garmin Vivomove is a well-crafted and stylish watch that provides bare-bones fitness tracking, but you're trading function for form.

Garmin Vivomove Sport review: Best of both worlds?

This is a great hybrid watch that pairs physical hands with a nice and clean finish, but also hides a useful little display for stats tracking.

Looks great ; Nice and lightweight ; Hidden OLED works well

Display is limited functionally ; No independent GPS

At a price point that Garmin has struggled to own, the Vivomove Sport is a really great new option for those who don't want a full smarwatch but who would like to get some more in-depth tracking.

Review: You get the best of both worlds with the Garmin Vivomove Sport

Have you dreamed of a watch that effortlessly combines form and function into one stunning package? Then the Garmin Vivomove Sport might be the hybrid smartwatch of your dreams.

Sleek, attractive design ; Heart-rate monitoring ; Activity/sleep tracking ; Body Battery & Pulse Ox ; Five days of battery life

Nice looking watch

I did not keep this product as the face of the watch was too large for me didn't look as big in the picture

Watch

Disappointed to say the least. The watch would niot pair properly with my phone and kept losing connection. Wasted hours on it.

Subtle and does the job

I already have the Garmin Fenix 3 HR and all the gibbons that come with that. But I wanted something more subtle and not so 'activity tracker' to look at. This fits the bill nicely. The steps and the move tracking all seem to work accurately. The only...
