Canon Pixma MG6150

Excellent black print quality. Excellent photo print quality. Intuitive and slick touch panel. CD/DVD printing.

Very slow print speeds. iPhone/iPad app performance is flaky.

Canon's Pixma MG6150 is a slow multifunction printer, but the print quality and ease of use make it a multifunction worth waiting for.

Stay clear of this one

Nice print, but that's all that it's got going for it. The interface and software is terrible. Forces you to keep all colours full, even if you only want to print/copy in black and white. I bought a full original Canon colour kit for around $160 and as...

Ink runs out super quick

I do not usually write these reviews but I just wanted to warn people before buying one of these that it uses up the ink really fast, for example I have brought the Magenta cartridge a few weeks back and after printing 20-30 pages at the most, not even...

unenvironmental printer

The MG6150 uses enormous volumes of ink at every start up. Since Xmas 2011 I have replenished all the cartridges at least twice and only for a handfull of documents - not even one in here. Can't select Black & White print (except for copy). The warm up...

Wastes ink. Long warm up, another long warm up if the printer is idle for a minutes or so - more ink wasted

No problems

I've been more than happy with this printer. It works perfectly all the time. I've had no problems using non canon branded inks. I have no idea why the first few reviews were so bad. It worked perfectly straight out of the box. The wireless function...

works as expected.

Worst printer canon has built

This printer does not print properly useless you align print heads everytime you use it and the print quality is very bad. Resetting the software doesnt help. Canon themselves are not interested in the problems l have so if you buy this tool, you are...

Problems with disc printing, will not colour print properly, maintenance interface is useless, printer has a mind of its own.

Canon produces a great printer/scanner again.

My Pixma MP630 stopped printing yellows and I went out to buy another. The MP630 is no longer available so I came home with the MG6150. I didn't really want to because the MG6150 uses 6 later-generation ink tanks and my collection of spare ink tanks...

Good quality output, better build quality than MP630.

Occasional irritating pauses before or during printing.

Great photo print quality

Found there to be too much packaging. Time to set up printer was tiresome. Not being good with computers I found the instructions hard to follow and the printer is supposed to be wireless. When I came to the section to input the pass phrase I got lost....

Quality of photo prints or normal document prints is great. A little bit slow though. Haven't used the scan option yet but look forward to experimenting to utilise the machine to it's full capabilities. I found the price comparable to other brands if...

Too much packaging and too many booklets and paperwork. Have not had to change toners yet but believe they are quite expensive so will need to shop around for the best price for these too.

Excellent photo shop quality printing, very easy to setup and use

I purchased our Canon printer 3 months ago to replace a previous canon printer that we had had 7 years. Canon know how to make a good printer. It took approx 25 minutes to do the very easy setup process and then the printer was up and running. This...
