Samsung NX11 interchangeable lens camera

Samsung NX11 review: A small camera with a digital SLR-sized sensor and functions

Compact size ; Very good image quality ; Relatively good value

High ISO performance not great ; Focus a little hit and miss ; EVF could be better

The NX11 is small and capable of producing very good images thanks to its relatively big sensor. With a built-in EVF and flash, it's one of the better value interchangeable lens camera on the Australian market.

Samsung NX11

The NX11 seems like a bit of a pointless upgrade. Without adding any new or class-changing features to an already decent camera, the NX11 can't really hold its own compared to newer offerings in the ILC market.

Very good image quality ; APS-C-sized image sensor ; SLR-like shooting experience

Poor video quality ; 18-55mm kit lens shows some dramatic distortion ; Such minor updates from the NX10 it is almost not worth it

Editor's note: given the similarities between this camera and the NX10, portions of this review are the same.

REVIEW—SAMSUNG NX11]

This 14.6 megapixel camera with the APS-C SIZED sensor (as used in most consumer level DSLRs) is a slight revision of the NX10, Samsung's first compact interchangeable lens camera with an electronic viewfinder. Body shape, bulk and mass are much the...

We liked the NX10 and the NX11 is just that little bit better. Focus is fast and accurate, colours and exposures are good. It is a responsive camera, particularly by comparison with some other EVF cameras. The iFn control is not a gimmick — it is...

The electronic viewfinder is not too bad, but it does black out momentarily when the shutter is released

These compact system cameras, such as the Samsung and those from Olympus, Panasonic and Sony, are the perfect step up from the true compacts, giving much better image quality in small body forms. In Asia these cameras take about 40 per cent of the...

Samsung NX11

A modest upgrade to the NX10 with a redesigned grip and support for i-Function lenses.Samsung's mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera line-up now consists of four models: the original NX10, the NX5, NX100 and the new NX11. The NX11features a...

Our Imatest tests were carried out on the NX11 body with the relatively new 20-50mm f/3.5-5.6 zoom lens, which supports the i-Function adjustments. Pictures straight out of the review camera were quite sharp with a reasonable amount of detail recorded...

Samsung NX11 Review

The popular NX10 has been updated to include the ‘i-Function’ controllability of the NX100, adding extra convenience to what is already a very appealing CSC package.

"Quality camera, real bang for your bucks pics"

I have hankered for a micro 4/3rds ever since I saw the panny GF1 pics a year or so ago. I rationalised buying one by saying I really need a medium sized camera to take away instead of lugging the EOS 7D around. However, I didn't want to pay top...

Compact, fast, great shots in all modes

Nothing major, nothing worth bleating about
